Having joined PSA in 1954, Reginald Wickham, APSA,
PPSA was awarded recognition for his proficiency in photography in April
2002, with five stars in the Pictorial Print Division in monochrome
prints where he boasts high ranking indeed. Reggie is no stranger to
recognition: having developed a unique approach for processing the sensitive
portraits he has taken over the years, he is a frequent presenter at
the annual PSA Conference and the annual NECCC Conference in Amherst,
MA in addition to a variety of other important venues.
In 1999 Reggie was the proud recipient of PSA's John Doscher Memorial Award for having unselfishly shared his darkroom expertise with photographers through presenting, judging, and lecturing at numerous camera clubs, councils, and chapters as well as rendering extensive community service in the photographic medium. His work is displayed in museums and galleries, is published in newspapers and magazines, and is featured on book covers and music record jackets. |
