Horse and Rider Down

"Horse & Rider Down"
This image was made at the Cheyenne, Wyoming rodeo in July 2000.  This is the Bronko Bustin' event and the horse fell just as it exited the gate, but got up immediately and continued as if nothing had happened.  Neither the horse nor the rider were injured.

Staircase

"Staircase"
This was photographed in Straubing, Germany during a trip in June of 2001.  Straubing is a quaint small town on the Danube River.

Leopards on the Ledge

"Leopards on the Ledge"
This shot was made in July 1989 in Kenya.  The wild leopard was nursing her cubs when we chanced upon her.  She "posed" with one of her cubs while we photographed her.

A PSA member since 1983, Herb G. Sargeant captured his PPSA in September 2003 with four stars in Nature, two stars each in Photojournalism and Photo Travel, and one star each in Color Slide and Pictorial Prints.  He especially likes shooting large wild predators, rodeos, and candids of children.  Herb serves as the PSA Representative for the Delaware Photographic Society and has volunteered to evaluate PSA club slides by mail.
