A PSA member since 1994, Frenchman Jocelyn LaPorte attained his PPSA in August 2003 with four stars in Photo Travel, three stars each in Color Slide and Photojournalism, and two stars in Nature.  He came to photography through his holiday travels and especially enjoys human interest subjects along with landscapes and creative efforts.  He is a member of the French Photography Federation and the Image sans Frontieres and works as a researcher in genetics in Strasbourg, France.  Jocelyn won the Photo Travel Division's Travelette competition in 1998 and was honored with the Photojournalism of the Year in 1999.  His email is laporte_wendling@hotmail.com.
