Hepaticas

Hepaticas #14
Hepaticas are one of my favorite flowers to photograph. They are an
early spring flower that grow in open woodlands in old leaf clutter.
This image is of a purple hepaticas and, for me, the purple with white
is the most impressive of all the hepaticas.

Jack-in-the-Pulpit

Jack-in-the-Pulpit in Fruit
This Jack-in-the-Pulpit was found along a trail in the Wisconsin
woods in the fall of 1986. This was a photo not to be missed.

Family of Four

Family of Four
In the spring in woodland areas everything seems to bloom at once. This small grouping caught my eye and to me it represents a small family with the father showing an affectionate moment with the mother while she displays a similar moment with her children.
