Barbara Kinnard Pyke, FPSA attained her PPSA in 2003 after earning four stars in the Photojournalism Division along with a variety of stars in Pictorial Prints: three in Monochrome B, three in Commercial Color, and two in Color B. Her favorite photographic subjects: people, scenics, and flowers.

A member since 1980, Barbara has been an active PSA volunteer. Her many roles include several positions for the PJ Division for North Texas International Exhibitions and Secretary of the North Texas Chapter of PSA from 1988 through 1999. A former Area Rep, she served as Director for PSA Region between 1997 and 1999. Barbara also held several positions in the PJ Division since 1997 including Secretary, Second Vice Chair, and Star Ratings Director. She also served on the Honors Committee for four years, culminating as its Chair in 2002-2003. For these varied contributions, Barbara earned a PSA Service Award in 1990, an APSA in 1991, and an FPSA in 1997. Also active in local photography organizations, Barbara has taken on a number of responsibilities for the Dallas Camera Club as well as the Gulf States Camera Club Council.
