Yui Shing Lee, PPSA, New York, New York has earned 5 Stars in Pictorial Prints and received his PPSA in 2008. He joined PSA in 1990 and is an active member of the Photographic Salon Society of New York. He was, for over 30 years, the owner of a restaurant in New York's Chinatown and on September 11, 2001 shut the doors due to his proximity to Ground Zero. Since he was at retirement age he decided to devote his time to photography. He enjoys photographiing swans and also the scenic nature of the USA and China. Some of the areas in China that he has captured with his camera are Yellow Mountain and Guilin. He has also photographed in Mongolia. On April 18, 1998, the Office of the Public Advocate for the City of New York declared that day as "Yu Shing Lee Day" in recognition of the publication and exhibition of his photographic work. |
