A PSA member for a number of years, Eli Rivera, PPSA has attained two stars in the Color Slide Division, and three stars in the Nature Division where he ranked 20th in the United States in 1998.  He is well known in the New York Metropolitan Area for his activities on the Board of Directors for the Cosmopolitan Chapter, serving as Secretary for the last two years.  For the last three years, he has been Field Trip Chairman, organizing and leading one and two day trips to area zoos, botanical gardens, waterfalls, and parks.  Not limited to nature subjects, he also conducts an especially popular trip annually to the Clownfest on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights, NJ.  In addition to his photography, he is a Spanish interpreter for the PSA International Affairs Committee.
