He shot his first photo, when he was but 5 years old when he took a good photo of his brother with his mother's camera without her knowledge.  He used a fully mechanical Practica and some lenses in primary school and was photographing mostly nature, mountains, animals and his daughter Urska. 

      In 2004 he bought a compact digital camera which he still uses for nature shots and has since invested in another digital camera for animals and sports.

     Besides walking in nature and climbing mountains he likes underwater swimming.  In 2007 he bought another digital camera  with housing for underwater photograpy and in 2008 he finished diving shool to get more possibilities in underwater photography. 

     In the year 2005 he joined the local Photo-club in Jesenice and has begun sending his photos to many exhibitions.  In 2009 he became president of the Photo-club in Jesenice.
