I
hope you enjoy your holiday in Guatemala. Thank you for the bright
Easter image. |

What
a great idea! The
selection of the girl was done skillfully and you weaved her into
the flowers perfectly.
The flowers seem to have even lighting, but the child has
strong lighting at about one-o-clock. If you could resolve these
differences, somehow, this would be perfect. |

A sweet image of your little one. The spring flowers are pretty and you have rendered a cute concept for Easter. I would take another look at the lighting in the two layers when you have the time. It appears that there is a great deal more shadow on the child and that the light on her comes from the right side. The flowers; however; seem to be lit from the front and from above. Also, I think the image would benefit by cropping out some of the far background along the top. A pretty good job for a quickie. I look forward to seeing some of your photos from Guatemala. |

Interesting
concept but it does look like it needs more work. Most of the image
seems dark to me and there are many light traps in the background
that could have been removed. Also, the lighting on the child looks
different than the light on the flowers. Hope you have a great trip
in Guatemala. |

What
a beautiful lot of flowers with good set of light that puts the
child in value. There is however just the
limit to the creativity as this photo could be considered
genuine. |

A
lovely fun image, would have liked to have seen some easter eggs
perhaps hidden in the grass to go with your title?

I am a retired Veterinarian living in Grass
Valley California. My first photographs were taken in the highlands
of Guatemala as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Spectacular shots were not
difficult. But upon returning to the US I found that they were
difficult indeed. I gravitated to large format landscape photography
and pursued this endeavor for 20 years . I have switched to digital
photography in the last few years and have pursued photoshop
techniques and Corel Painter to expand my creativity. I try to
capture a mood or emotion in my photographs that perhaps makes one
pause for a few moments and be glad they took a look. |
