| David Halgrimson | Hope this does not sound cruel but this image holds no interest or impact for me as there is no subject to atrack the eye. The halos around the trees on the right and above the horizon do not look natural. Sorry, just nothing here for me. |
| Mohammed Arfan Asif | I understand the atmosphere in this image and the feeling reflected from the author. But would prefer to go for a crop since the elements are quite minimalistic. Some element in the foreground would have helped. |
| Jerry hug | I am not sure about the organization of this photo? The first area that my eye goes to is the halo above the grass and to the left of the trees on the right. I can except the look of fog above the grass, but around the vertical side of the trees looks strange. My real concern is the organization of the image with a large area of water that has no interest and cloud less sky with the horizontal and vertical band? |

Looks a cold morning by the
lake, the detail and contrast is all there, but I find I want to
crop the image to bring the boats closer to the viewer. They seem to
just be lost in the frame for me. Composition is fine, but I would
lose a touch off the foot and left hand side. |

Very soft ethereal effect from the fog. The light coming from
behind the tree makes a nice reflection. Also the horizon light
adds to the softness. I might like a little tighter crop with
some off the left and the bottom, but leaving all of the tree
and most of the reflection. Very nice.

| Jim Baker | This image succeeds in showing a very cold, overcast, and foggy day. The central interest is in the two boats so I would recommend cropping much of the left side of the image to isolate just the boats and the trees. I would also crop about half of the foreground water to further isolate the boats. The sky presents a curious halo effect which is reflected in the foreground. Was this intended? |
