I am a retired Ph.D. Chemist, married with 2 boys. I enjoy biking, woodturning, wine making and genealogy in addition to photography. I made my first print 50 years ago in a friend's basement. I was hooked and took thousands of pictures off and on over for those years. I switched to digital in 2000 and love the expanded opportunities to deliver the print as I saw it and as I would have liked it to look the lens. I have packed up the Canon film cameras in favor of Nikon digital equipment.
