| Jerry Greenfield | Great timing in catching the fire from the cannon. |
| Peter Jeffer | Outstand capture with great timing for the cannon flash. Good cropping to set the scene… and gives a terrific WOW factor with the red/orange hue around the flame and on the subjects. Your description of technique was most helpful and quality work. I wonder how many times they shot the cannon before you got the final version? |
| Debbie Perez | My eye traveled right to the fire but, for me, it is too bright. The glow from the firing and how it is reflected on the one soldier is great. Think this photo would be a good candidate for some pseudo HDR to add a little detail to the fire. |
| Lynn Pilewski | The capture of the flame roaring out of the canon really tells the story. The warm light enhances the shot. I'd like to see this shot from a bit further out so that the flame doesn't take up most of the shot and the troops' heads would be intact. |
| Margaret Schmidt | It's a real accomplishment to capture the flash of the canon. Nice work. By pulling back from the scene a bit, you might have also been able to include more of the troops , as well as the wheel of the canon. |
| Howard Watts | Interesting shot. Good timing. It's nice to have the cannon fire and good that it didn't blow out the whole picture. You can still see other details. The cannon fire is so much brighter than anything else, that that is all you really see--a little distracting. |
