This was taken at the Roman Forum at Rome, Italy a few years ago.

This photo of the forum has an old postcard look and feel. It showed its age. Great shot.

So you have been using this technique for some time!
This technique works well for this particular subject, and is helped by use of a the portrait format . The image seems to stress the stone construction and the air of destruction. Please do not take this as in any way being a criticism, but I would be interested to see a greater variety of techniques in your submissions.

The vertical lines add a lot to the image. I was wondering, are you working on any other techniques?

Carl Soerens

A wonderful subject that is well composed. The white sky dominates the image making it difficult to concentrate on the interesting pillars. There appears to be two people in the lower right that could be removed in post processing.

Anu Nadimpalli - Biography

I like to capture architecture, both Built & Natural. As a former architect I like to bring out the intricacies of the built environment, its Engineering and its Artistic beauty, through the lens of my camera. Although I have always loved photography, circumstances have led me to pursue it much more seriously during the past decade. My husband and I like to travel around the world. My very first SLR was a Minolta Dynax 404si. However, I have moved to a digital SLR, a Konica Minolta Dynax 5D, (now called Sony Alpha), since November 2005. My main goal in being a Photographer, is to also to be a Photo Artist. For a few years now, I have been developing a particular style of photo art. By joining this group, I hope to learn, develop and ultimately improve on this particular style of photo artistry. I am very grateful to PSA for giving me this enormous opportunity.
