| Richard Pease | I like this, the mood is intriguing and I find myself wondering - where is this bird going? |

| Judy Merson | A very tranquil pastel sky with the silhouetted vulture to give extra interest. |
| Dorinda Wills | How
amazing to see one of these birds in flight. I like the mauve
color tone that you used, to offset the silhouette of the condor.
Have you considered cropping on the left (just to the small puffy
clouds), and off the top about halfway to the condor? I think
there is just a bit too much space in the original. |

Fritz Grupe - Biography
I
am an amateur photographer. Periodic travel has allowed me to encounter
lots of great opportunities to take photos of places and things that
are fresh, at least to me. I am particularly interested in patterns in
nature, as well as in travel photos. Photography enables me to enjoy my
travels more because I am constantly looking for scenes to photograph.
This causes me to pay closer attention to where I am and to see beauty
that I might otherwise have missed.
I work with Photoshop for color enhancement, cropping, printing and other improvement techniques. I am not skilled in the more “creative” techniques used by graphic artists/photographers. My camera is a somewhat out of date Konica Minolta 7D with two telephoto lenses (up to 300 mm). A newer SONY A55 is on order. I am a retired professor of information systems from the University of Nevada, Reno and the developer of several commercial and non-commercial web sites. Some of my better photos are found at http://PhotosByFritz.net. With so many great photographers around, I’m not especially interested in selling photos, but I am happy to share insights into where I’ve been and what I’ve seen with others. |
