Rear View Mirror Mitten
How I did it
I'm sure many of our group has photographed Monument Valley. There are many thousand photographs taken there of the great Landmarks. I have many myself. On my last trip there this past April, I again drove that very rough road through the valley taking photos of those "monuments" from various spots. While riding away from the Mittens monuments, I notice from the outside rear view mirror one of the Mittens showing clearly on a bright day. Couldn't resist sticking my camera out the winndow to photograph the image you see here. Nothing spectacular about it, but if is from a different perpective. I moved the vehicle to a point along the road to get the entire image in the mirrror. Applied some satruation to the Mitten and sky, and gaussian blur on the outer edges of the mirror frame. Perhaps many have done this type of photograph, but it is an interesting perspective. Since this is a mirror image, can our group tell whether it is a right or left mitten that was photographed?
