"Rose In Spring"

How I did it -

We have this rose garden close by at the community college that is very good place to go and shoot roses.  So one day I took my macro lens to see what I can get with having only a portion of the rose in focus while the rest is blurred.  This should draw your attention to a specific part of the rose.  It’s fun since you have to bring all your equipment since you are shooting in the middle of the day and need to deal with the sun.

Wayne Johnson - Biography I have had an interest in photography going back to the days of film, if you can remember what that looks like! Over the past couple of years I finally decided to actually learn about photography by joining photo clubs and going on photo shoots with friends. My interest has picked up real fast since starting out in the digital world with a Nikon D 70 and now using a D 300S and D 700. Actually the D 700 was an anniversary present, 10 months early since the wife saw I was enjoying photography so much! I have enjoyed taking more time traveling around with the wife and cameras and visiting various places we have not seen. It is rather difficult now staying at home on the weekends now! In my spare time I work for the government as a revenue agent. Rather fun going after the crooks who don’t like following the law. Please only shoot me with your camera! Remember, we are the kinder, gentler Service Agency! I’m counting down my days to retirement so that I can spend more time out with nature and a camera! I also enjoy hitting the road on my bike taking in the sights and the outdoors.
