Mark De May - Biography I bought my first serious camera, an Olympus OM-1n, in 1981 and have been taking pictures ever since. Having a completely manual camera really helped me learn the basics of photography. After working in high tech and computers for more than 20 years, I decided to join the modern age of photography and bought my second camera, a Nikon D80, in 2007. I mostly work in some of the fringe areas of photography: macro, long exposure (20 seconds or longer), and night photography.
