| Lynn Ronan | I see this as a very pleasing image. I’m drawn to these scenes also. I think the placement of the pine on the left is good. I would try a crop a bit off the top and warm up the light through white balance or in the color channels. You’ve captured a nice feeling I think. |

Cropping it square was a good idea and I like the light coming through the trees. You might want to lighten up the small spruce tree a bit so that detail matches the detail of the tall trees. |

| Benny Baughman | Keeping the golden backlight trees visible was a good idea. I feel something is missing at the bottom. I would have like to see just a little more of the grass or none at all. This is where I get the missing feeling. |

The golden back lighting really makes the image...the image is nicely exposed as you get a real feel as to the surroundings and the mood. |

Member 5 - Biography My name is Alice Meronek and I'm from Almont, Michigan, USA, and about 60 miles north of Detroit and about 50 miles from Canada. I work at Commercial Steel Treating Corp., an privately owned, metal heat treatment plant, in accounting. I belong to the Detroit Photo guild camera club and have been taking photos since junior high school when I bought a Leica camera at a garage sale. I still shoot film with a Canon camera now, but do scan all my photos into the computer. |
