Title - Buddy

How I did it -

You may remember my dog Buddy. I shot this in my house. This is an example of if you wait long enough the shot will come. I burnt the background and sharpened the picture.

         Comments:

Lynn Ronan Nice portrait, I think he really is communicating with the viewer. The background is a bit busy, but the expression saves the day.
Kathy Brand

Your image has good exposure and I like the expression on Buddy’s face.  I would crop a little bit off the right as the dresser drawers detract attention from Buddy.

Jon Fishback I think I would like Buddy better in a vertical.  I also think the shiny tag might very well be removed.

The picture of Buddy is nice however the rest of the picture in my mind need to be  removed as it is a distraction..I would suggest masking Buddy and removing the background and replacing it with a plain white background.

I’ve been married for 31 years to a really sweet woman.  We have two adult children and a daughter-in-law. We have rescued 2 dogs from the local animal shelters.  We live in the great state of Idaho.  I bought an old film camera in the late 70’s, a Mamiya I believe, while I was in the US Air Force.  The camera was stolen and before I could replace it I got married.  With a family I never did get back into it, with the expense of developing and all.  Well back to the present we go.  I’ve been back into photography and shooting digital for about 2 years now.  I love to shoot sports, all levels, and events.  I’m the membership chair for the Boise Camera Club.
