August Image - Jan with wreath - a play with clip art

How I did it -

The original portrait had a plain background and had already flowers behind the ladies ear. The flowers of the wreath are copies of that ear flower, thus my own photography. The new background a piece of handmade paper which includes grass and leaves but no flowers. This was scanned and brought into the image. All the other flowers are "borrowed" from a (free or private use) CLIP ART website, cleaned, enlarged, rotated and softened. All these single layers were finally merged into 2 main flower layers of which one is the flowers on the ground and one the MOTION BLUR flowers in the background. There are several layers over the background and face, such as an ageing "SATIN", a "LENSBLUR". A RENDER-LIGHTING EFFECT-SPOTLIGHT was added and blended in.

All in all an interesting STUDY, but no competition work because of the borrowed flowers. Many small accidents on the way and now may be too dark for your monitor, just the kind of darkness which looks good on my monitor. One big minus here is the fact, that the Satin layer destroyed all reminding structure of the ladies hair.
