July Image - Distribution of tax revenues

How I did it -

Nothing is real in this piece. All underlying photos are from Laos Cambodia and India. The color contrast of the shrine was obtained by two layers, each is exposed in different area. The rest is a simple blending (could be done better) of various photos. .

COMMENTS:
Elli's post-comment space  .

Jim Hawkins  I must confess that I don't see how the title relates to the picture.  It is a terrific image though; indoor and outdoor, realistic and fanciful, balanced yet still dynamic.  As always, great use of light direction.

Claudia Peterson  Intriquing image with the "treat" being the wonderful elephant. All other bits and pieces are there to enhance the fun with the elephant. Love it, but I feel it needs more bottom space. It hurts my eyes to see the feet cut off, as well as the bowl. Do love the strong orange and blue color scheme. I noticed a little blue halo around two images. All critiquing aside, I think the elephant idea is brilliant and I love this image

Ian Ledgard  Your fertile imagination at work once again to present us with an intriguing scene to which we could add many alternative titles. It is the small touches that are a delight such as the elephant(s) - maybe they are delivering the next bags of taxes? Most enjoyable imag.

  Elli Kraizberg - Biography

PSA member since 1999. PPSA 2005. I am a University Professor.

Well before the computer age, I used to make collages of photos by manual “cut and glue”. Making a collage took over one month. Now I do the same “cut and paste” much faster, and … no need for expensive glue and photo developing.

PSA exhibitions: in the past 6 years, over 1200 acceptances in various divisions, 32 countries, over 130 medals and HM.
