| Brian Swinyard | Rick, in your submission this month you have created the illusion of seven toy fish swimming over the river stones, swimming against fast-flowing water and huddled together for protection. I like the arrangement of the elements in the frame and the techniques you have used. I particularly like the expressions on the faces and the quizzical look in the eyes. I wondered whether the colours of the fish needed to be slightly more saturated or whether the image would benefit from being colorized to mono/duotone apart from the lower blue fish that appears to be peeking through the others. |

| Bill Hodges | Good use of the four original images reversing the fish has helped as they lead you into the image. Nice tonal range. Maybe I would like to see the image darkened slightly in levels or curves as I feel it just lacks impact which I’m there is. |

| Joan Field | This is a really fun image. It is good that the "fish" are all coming in from the same direction and have such cuddly colors. I agree with some of the others that I wish they were a little stronger in color. You have put this together very well. Good work! |
| Barrie Bieler | Quite a visual project; it is very successful. A mixture of whimsey, unreality and reality. |
| Anne Swearman | You have chosen a useful set of pictures and combined them really well. Great idea, I would suggest making the fish a little brighter, as they seem just slightly subdued. They all seem to have achieved their own personalities. Nice textures. |
| Nancy Springer | What a perfect addition to a child's room! The sweet faced fish are adorable. Their little faces are very child-like in their expressions while looking in different directions as children often do. The only suggestion would be to saturate their colors a bit…just to give a little "umph" to separate them from their watery background. Good job! |
