The images displayed on this website were created by members of the Photographic Society of America's (PSA) Digital Imaging Study Group
21. This CREATIVE section is for those images dedicated
to altered reality and is devoted to altering the image so that
it departs from the reality of the original photograph. This
means the camera or other light gathering device could never
capture such images as they appear in the altered image.
The creators of these images explain how they arrived at the final results by manipulating their photographs in a digital imaging program such as Photoshop. The images are presented for Group members to study and critique by offering constructive comments on the artistic merit, technical strengths and weaknesses of each image. Enjoy your visit to this site and be sure to check back each month on the 10th for a new set of images, and the 25th for the current comments.
