June Image - Its Not Easy Being Green

Comments

John Hackett Is the interloper turning green or red? A simple idea well arranged and taken. It could not have had another title.

The composition is great and the idea is also.  The only problem I see with it are the hot spots in the peppers.  If they can be toned down some I think this would be a great image.

What a nice image of such a simple subject!  I especially like the title of it. You have proven that good images can be found anywhere if the photographer has a good eye!

Cute idea. The reds are good and the green is well saturated. Only
suggestion I would make is too much dark, empty space in the center of the
picture. Should have a few more red peppers in there.

A nice example of an image of just fruit vegetables or flowers with one a
different color and positioned on a 1/3 crash point. It is a bit unusual
that the one with the green rises out of an area of shadow instead of being
directly surrounded with other red fruit or vegetables, but I like it. It
sets off the green one even more. We have to be so careful with pictures
with a lot of red that we do not lose detail in that one color, but this one
looks good to me. A check of the red histogram would tell if any detail in
red is lost, and it helps to make some of the color and lighting adjustments
looking at or checking just the red histogram for red blowout. Creative
title also.
