I have been a PSA member since the mid 1950s, with several interruptions down through the years. I still compete at S4C by a friend , Seymour Novins, entering images for me. Unfortunately there is very little PSA activity in Kentucky, I am the Region 3 director for Kentucky. About 8 years ago I converted over to all digital. I sold my darkroom, and my film cameras except for a few collector ones. Currently I use a Nikon D200 with a 12-24mm f4 Tokina, a 24-120mm f3.5-5.6 VR Nikor, a 70-200mm f2.8 VR Nikor, a105mm f2.8 Micro Nikor, and several other older lenses in Nikon mounts. Over the years I have accumulated a full range of Nikon accessaries. The digital end is handled with an Apple 24" 2.8 GHz iMac, running OSX 10.5.5. I have a Nikon Koolscan IV film scanner, an Epson 2450 flat bed scanner, an Epson 2450 printer, a Wacom Intuos 2 6X8 tablet, a Western Digital 1 TB Studio external drive, and various other minor digital devices. I use Adobe CS3 for image manipulation, and I also use Corel Painter Essentials 4. |
