I like this simple composition of image that
conducts our attention to the water-flow. A small increment on the
exposure may increase the contrast in this picture. |

This shot makes me feel wet and thus effective as a waterfall shot. |

I like this. It essentially has two sides – the light and the dark. However, where the falling water changes to flowing horizontally, you have a nice mix of colours. I like the use of shutter speed to slow the water down. |

I can almost hear the water crashing, great use of slow speed. Very nice lighting, between the lights and dark and effective use of cropping. |

My interest in photography started when I received a "Brownie" camera for Christmas as a child. Throughout my life, I have taken many pictures, updating cameras along the way. About seven years ago, I switched to digital and now shoot with a Canon 20D and an assortment of lenses Macro, travel, and nature
photography are my main interests.
I joined the "Mayslake Nature
Study and Photography Club" a little over a year ago and enjoy
the outings and group meetings. I have recently begun to take
some photo classes to improve my digital skills.
I have lived in the Chicago area
all of my life and love the museums and attractions that the city
has to offer. My "other hobbies" include travel and
sewing. I am looking forward to being a part of this
group!
