March - Tiger Woods Painting

How I did it -

Photo taken originally at the J.C. Penny Classic Golf Tournament in Palm Harbor, FL. Painted in Painter X with various brushes, and added a frame made in Photoshop from scratch..

COMMENTS:

Betty Billingham . You must have been delighted when you got that photo! Great capture, and I like the painted effect you have achieved very much. The frame, though a nice colour, does not work however. Here you are looking at the picture straight on from the front. If you can see the bottom of the frame - and you have shown you can, then it would be impossible to see the top at the same time (see top left corner). Likewise, you cannot see both sides at the same time! Something is not quite right somewhere. Sorry.
Bob Feinberg .Nice shot Nick. I actually would like to see the image without the painting effect. It's a great shot. Your painting effect created a beautiful painted oil portrait look. I don't think Tiger's wife would want a copy though. I like the frame you made, great deal of patience.
Leonie Holmes .Love the painterly impression on Tiger. The frame goes so well with the image.
Mark Southard .This is very timely and a very good image at the same time . The painterly look sure works here and the framing is a good addition but why is the top of the frame larger than the bottom?
Paula Davies .
Sam Shaw .Nice shot to start with. Good job in creating the painterly effect. With your framing the whole image looks like it could be a framed painting on a wall.
