How I did it -

I used the find edges filer and many solid fill color layers with various blend modes.

COMMENTS:
Angelo Meini .The picture is much brighter The development gives balance to the palace. It changes color pink softens the image. The original shot may be too aggressive.
Betty Billingham .An interesting colour change..
Bill Thompson .The Find Edges filter worked well with this image. I think I would crop the top off down to just above the blue windows on the right.
Bob Feinberg .Very nice image with all types of leading lines. I like the composition, but for my taste would have liked more of the lower left cropped out and give me a bit more on the right running along the flow pots. The overall magenta cast disturbs me, I think I would have brought out more color on the flower pots.
Kathy Potter . I love the forms in this picture. The purple hue is nice too, it reminds me of "The Jetsons" cartoon. (That dates me). The beginning photo, was also good but had a lot of shadow.
Mark Southard .I think you have succeeded in your creation ! The choice of 'find edges' fits the image well.

I When it comes to digital imaging, my primary interest is in Photoshop manipulations, I purchased my first DSLR so that I would have files to import into Photoshop. It was not long before I discovered the advantage of having great images to begin with. I began taking classes and workshops in an effort to learn as much as I could about digital photography, and what can be done with it.

My first digital camera was a Canon point and shoot. In 2006 I bought my first DSLR a Nikon D40X. After my first photography class I obtained a D300. I recently upgraded to a Nikon D700. I use several lenses and a good wide-angle lens is on the top of my wish list.
I have also read many books and learned much about the science of color management. I have two Epson printers: A 3800 and a 7800. I enjoy large format printing and am experimenting with printing on fabrics.
I have been working on a project involving the City of Boston since March 2009. In January 2011 I was accepted into the Copley Society of Art.
During the spring of 2011 I began crafting handmade books in order to have a very nice method of presenting my artwork.
