January     Image -  "Revisit of Butterfly"

How I did it - I did not do much in PS and I simply followed the suggestion of our member Priscilla. I darkened the back ground and enhanced the color of the flower which looks much better than the previous image as you can compare. I hope my friend Priscilla will like it.

Comments

Bill Thoompson Well I like it even if she doesn't . This is a big improvement.
Brian Swinyard Shaikh, I like your reworking of the Butterfly image in which the saturated colours of the subjects stand out so well from the black background. In the process, the colour balance seems to have shifted on the flowers and butterfly. The tighter cropping and the removal of some of the other foliage and flowers have worked well to show just the single stem. I must say that I like both ?Before? and ?After? images.
Beverly Caine Much better - Great Improvement
Priscilla Farrell I do like the "after" image with the darkened background. I also like the isolated floral stem with butterfly.
John Larson You have done a great job in showing us how simple it is sometimes by just adjusting the darkness of the background. Less is more.
