| John Hackett | A well seen winter scene. I like the way the fence leads us to a gap, which is filled by the white tree. The background makes the white tree really stand out.

This is an interesting image. I
feel the cold and get a sense that the sun was breaking through. I
like the image. |

Eye-catching scene. Lots of contrast. Snow is always hard to work with and is well exposed. I think I would suggest zooming in leaving the tree in the off-center location but making it more of the scene and trimming the top and bottom elements, especially the bright, arresting foreground. Nice subject. Cheryl. |

Beautiful shot and love the softness of the
background trees that make the white stand out nicely. |

Cheryl Spears I was born and raised in California. I have lived in Berkeley, Concord, Fresno, and Sonora. I now live in Idaho about 45 minutes from Jackson Hole. My mother was nurse, and my father worked in the prison system. I have two grown children and seven grandchildren. I worked 30 years in a grocery store and retired in 2004 when we moved to Idaho. I like to travel, take pictures, walk with my dog in the morning, and play bunco and Mahjongg. There is a lot to do in this area. We have the Snake River in the valley and it attracts lots of fishermen. We have a lots of tourists coming though the valley. Yellowstone Park is 90 miles away. It’s a great place to live, however the town in 45 miles away.
