Title:Muslims at home

How I did it:

I submit this image as I am not sure about if I can do something to do with it to make it interesting or may be it is better not to wate time in it. There two images, the RAW image is that with the more saturated colors. I processed the image only with a little crop and working on the colors as I saw the original ones were too saturated.

Comments
Maria Korab-Laskowska To me this is an excellent image and post processing. You took care of every detail that might be distractive. My eye moves comfortable trough the image thanks to your work with light. The partial darkening of the image makes the photo more 3 dimensional and light become much more interesting. I like especially how you created the light on greens in the basket
Tom Icklan This is a very interesting view of a culture I am not familiar with. I noticed you did add a subtle amount of vignetting which is good but I would add even more to really draw the viewers eye toward the two people. I believe they are the main attraction and the surrounding objects should be darkened and/or blurred. The angle you took this at has produced some distortion in the woman's left arm. This can be corrected in PS or possibly by taking advantage of the lens correction feature in the raw processing. I would not give up on this image since it is a wonderful story telling opportunity and deserves a little more work.
Mark Greenberg This is another well composed and photographed portrait. I like the more saturated image which shows the brightness of the garments. I also prefer the skin tones in that image. I think I would crop out the right side to eliminate the structure there and would darken the white building on the left to reduce it's competition with the two subjects.

Kieu-Hanh Vu I think that the crop in the 2nd image is better since you have eliminated the unwanted things in it. However, I'd prefer the skin tones and the colors of these people's clothes in the 1st image.
Linda Phelps I would like to go to dinner with this couple so I could have a share of the greens the lady is making. They look like they would be really good to eat. I like the crop and the change in the lighting to make a more natural scene. It is nice to have all the green tones in a similar shade. It helps to tie the composition together. You might was to add a little dark shading on the edges to see if you like that. The way I usually do it is the select a large soft brush and then run it along the would side of frame. This allows a little bit of the color to shade into the image.
Debra Thompson This image once again has interesting subjects and an exotic locale. I think, however, the image lacks a connection between the subjects and the photographer or each other. I find myself wanting to see what each is doing in more detail as I don't see a connection between them. I actually prefer the more saturated RAW image.

I love travelling to countries with different cultures and adventure sports in the nature and I always feel better when my camara is with me in these situations. I am starting to show my photos and trying to learn from other photographers and find my style and my way of seeing in photography, always enjoying as much as possible.

My equipment. Olympus E3. lenses: macro 50mm f 2.0, Olympus 12-60mm SWD f 2.8-4, 50-200mm SWD f 2.8-3.5
