| Allen Gannaway | Beautiful, serene scene. You might tone down the whites at left and their reflections. To me, the duck adds a lot of interest to this image. I assume you shot several pictures of these canals. Any boats? It would be simple to select a boat from another image and float it into this one, provided the perspective was the same. |
| Bill Provost | This is a very pleasant photo. I wonder what a polarizer filter would have done to darken the sky? Also, the canal seems to lead the eye out of the photo. Colors are vibrant. |
| Ron Alexander | Obviously a beautiful canal setting with water reflections, distant hills, beautiful buildingsall on the right side. But on the left a column of vehicles, awnings, etc. that completely ruins the effect. Not much to be done, unfortunately, even if you cloned them out it would still leave the problem of what to replace them with. |
| Lynne Royce | Crisp photograph. How about cutting down on the sky almost to the roof line to focus more on the water reflection and getting rid of the small branch over the roof. Duck and ripples add nice touch. |
| Don von Wolffradt | Excellent travel photo and reflection. The white, I don't know what they are maybe campers, on the left side of the image is really distracting. If it were possible to encourage the duck to swim a little ways to the right, it would be possible to crop-off the entire left side of the image. |
| Al Swanson | I love vacation seems like thisreminds me of Venice. Good color composition and tone. I really enjoyed the reflection and thought that it added a great deal to the image. There were two detractors for me: one is the duck and the lower left-hand corner that attracts my eye, and the other is the hot spot on what appears to be vendors on the left-hand side of the image. If I were doing this one, I think I would've cropped all of that out and focus on the building, flowers, and beautiful waterway. |
