| Dennis Hirning, EPSA | I do like the colors that you have here. I think that I might like to have the foreground branch that is over the water removed. It seems to grab my attention and keep me from getting into the image. |

I like the image. In order for me to better understand the
changes mentioned, I would loved to have seen the original image. I like the luminosity and contrast created in the processing. It is harder for me to under it being a wide-angle lens panorama. Was the original image cropped? In any case, it is an image that is worthy of display and offers a feel of winter that is full of light. |

You were fortunate to be able to focus and emphasize on the water. The coloring on the water definitely adds to the beauty of the water. I find your image to be more interesting than Shahron's. |
| Sol Blechman | It's a bit confusing to me but the path of water, with its orange tones is effective in taking your eye through the image. You did a good job of adding color. |
| Shahron Williams von Rooij | Good front-to-back movement in the image. The thickness of the branch in the foreground is a bit overwhelming, though. The painting with blue/orange is very effective. |

Since the Lithia Creek is new to me I searched in Wikipedia
and found plenty of photos for the area. It’s a wonderful
place to make splendid photos. In my view the foreground of
your shoot is an obstacle to the view of the Creek. May be
if the camera was lowered a bit putting the icy branches on
top of the photo, the Creek will have a chance. I tried to
split to photo in two views hope you find it interesting.

Neal R.
Thompson, MD - Biography Although a computer neophyte, I have since childhood followed my father's hobby of photography. Upon retiring from a busy medical practice last year, I "saw the light" by forsaking 20 years in my wet color darkroom and making my way into digital printing. Using a Nikon Coolscan 4000 ED scanner, Photoshop 6 and an Epson 1280 printer, I have concentrated on print submission to the Southern Oregon Photographic Association and print competition with the Columbia Council of Camera Clubs. I have taught classes focusing on travel photography. |
